Analyze and report test results including defect and test summary reports. Work with defined testing tools and processes to ensure software quality.HYBRID WORK SCHEDULEExcel Macros Expert ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Lead the testing requirements and design reviews, including overseeing the work of testing teams.2. Create and execute moderate to complex test scenarios and cases.3. Track and monitor defects.4. Report testing status via test summary and defect reporting.5. Support a specific application(s) that may support a specific line of business (LOB), channel or other business function.6. Serve as Subject matter expert (SME) from a software testing perspective for application(s) in assigned portfolio.7. Collaborate with other LOBs and Tech partners to ensure software quality. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education and related training2. Six years of experience in testing and quality assurance processes3. Working knowledge of test management tools, such as HP Application Lifecycle Management or Quality Center4. Good verbal and written communication skills5. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team6. Understand business, functional and technical aspects applications in assigned portfolio7. Understand application landscape (e.g. application architecture, physical and logical deployment, interfaces, dependencies) for applications in assigned portfolio Preferred Qualifications: 1. In-depth experience in banking deposits and investment-type systems. 2. Ability to data mine from large production files for testing scenarios that aren't common to standard processing. 3. Expert in writing excel macros to manipulate data for testing. 4. Highly self-motivated with ability to work individually and assist more inexperienced team members with their testing needs. OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS Sitting Constantly (More than 50% of the time) Standing Occasionally (Less than 25% of the time) Walking Occasionally (Less than 25% of the time) Visual / Audio / Speaking Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone. Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers. Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
